10AM to Noon
Raritan Learning Cooperative
168 Main St, Flemington, NJ

Is school avoidance a regular part of your family’s life? Are you seeing your child lose their love for learning? Are you looking for an alternative to the endless race of grades, homework, and focus on the future without living the present? Do you question if the so-called “soft skills” (communication, decision making, adaptability, critical thinking, conflict resolution, self-awareness, empathy,...) that don't get much attention in conventional schools are actually essential life skills for living meaningfully and joyfully in our world? Do you believe your child would be better served with more opportunity for flexibility and independence?

Join us for an Open House on Saturday, August 23. Tour our space and chat with RLC teacher-mentors, students, and parents. Ask questions, share experiences, and discover what learning can look like!

Raritan Learning Cooperative is school reimagined, where students discover and decide what is most important in their learning. Classes, workshops, and field trips are designed around students' interests and goals. Adult mentors offer encouragement, care, and support, and we use peaceful conflict resolution practices. Most importantly, the RLC community is rooted in mutual trust and respect. We believe young people can live their best lives now ☺️

For ages 12-18. Fee-based, sliding-scale program committed to making RLC accessible to families with a range of financial circumstances.
